How do I talk to my church about participating?
Begin by identifying any key decision makers who would need to approve the church’s participation. Share with them the one page informational brief, PDF download available at the bottom of this page, and follow up for some conversation. Tell them what about this opportunity most excites you, and how you hope it might benefit your congregation and community. Once you have a green light, you can begin exploring who you might invite to be a member of the Congregational Team.
Who should I invite onto the congregational team?
Your congregational team would ideally include two or three people who live near to the church as well as a cross-section of the congregation. Not necessarily the folks who already do everything. You want those who are willing to prioritize participation and show signs of interest in engaging with neighbors.
