Awaken Dane Update!

Awaken Dane is now on an accelerated 9-month program! For our 2024-2025 Cohort, Congregational Team members will meet the 2nd Thursday of each month from 5:30-8pm, September through May.
Pastors will have an additional meeting once a month.

Awaken Dane was brought to life by the collaborative partners: The Wisconsin Council of Churches, Collaboration Project, The University of Dubuque Theological Seminary and Upper House with funding from Lilly Endowment, Inc.

Our Vision: A movement of churches awakening to God’s call, forming life-giving friendships and partnerships, and growing in love for their home communities.

We began our first two-year cohort in July 2021 with eight congregations. We provided coaching staff to four additional congregations from September 2021-January 2022 to facilitate a similar curriculum called Leading Out of COVID. In July 2022 we welcomed seven congregations into our second cohort on our modified 9-month schedule
