Part of the Awaken Dane experience includes four plenaries over the two-year cohort. These plenaries are hosted at Upper House Madison and are designed to help participants further know and love their place – Dane County!
On November 14, 2024, we hosted a team from DaySpring Technologies, Redeemer Church, and Rise Prep School to share their ecology of presence and mutual ministry together.
On November 9, 2023, from 6-8pm we hosted Dr. David Weerts, Professor of Education from the University of Minnesota to speak on the topic “How the Church and University Work Together for the Common Good” at Upper House.

September 24th we welcomed Speaker Peter Tan at our 2022 Kickoff to share on the topic of Built Environment where we addressed the need to better understand how the physical structures around us influence our daily interactions and experience of our community.
